I'm George Dedopoulos, based in the Blue Mountains, Ontario. I've been running home automation in my own home long before "smart home" was a product category—real Hubitat automations, Z-Wave devices, proper networking, the whole thing.
My background is IT—15+ years helping small businesses keep their technology working. That means I approach smart home the way an IT professional would: reliable infrastructure first, then the fun stuff on top. Your system won't work because everything is glued together with IFTTT and hope.
The niche I've landed in is intentional. I'm not trying to compete with showroom integrators who need a $50k minimum to get in the door. I'm here for the homeowner who wants it done properly, is tired of DIY compromises, but doesn't need a dedicated server room.
